Good Life Foundation (GOLf), considers appropriately crucial the protection of your personal data. In this privacy statement, we explain what data we collect, why we process it, how we protect it and what rights you have. Good Life Foundation is a growing organization of people working for improvement of living standards and for protection of the ecosystems. Our employees, volunteers, supporters and donors worldwide are engaged in current topics with particular attention to climate restoration, poverty depletion, equity and equality, social economy rebuilding, opportunities, emergency aid and development projects. As a coalesce, we are endeavoring for a world where everyone has equal rights and opportunities, regardless of gender, origin or skin color and a world where everyone is responsibly protecting the environment to protect themselves; a world where peace is fully celebrated. We thirstily require your help. It is basis for which we invite donors to achieve our goals. This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal information provided by donors, volunteers, participants and relations (hereinafter: Personal Data), as well as data obtained from visits to and use of the website of Good Life Foundation.

What information do we collect?

We collect the following categories of information that you voluntarily provide to us, depending on your interaction with our organization:

  • Financial data: IBAN, payment/donations data.

We collect information in different ways:

  • Through our website, for example with donations, petitions, purchases in our webshop, or registration for newsletters.
  • During interactions via WhatsApp, Instagram, (Metaplatforms:Facebook Messenger), YouTube or other social media channels.
  • Through participation in a campaign (such as petitions), events, and surveys.
  • When you contact us via email, phone, or other channels.
  • Automatically via cookies and similar technologies on our website.

Photos and images

In all cases, we handle photos and images carefully. Photos and images are made during events, training sessions, workshops and manifestations to capture the event and to give impressions on our website and/or social media. Once the news value of the image has disappeared, only (part of) the photos are stored internally for historical purposes.

Attendees, visitors and participants will be informed in advance and during the event as well as possible about any image recordings. This is done, for example, through announcements at the location, in invitations or through other communication channels. For specific recordings of clearly recognizable people, we explicitly ask for permission. If you are recognizable on the screen and do not appreciate this, you can always make this known. Such footage shall be removed upon request.

With regard to photos that are used for advertising purposes, this is used for a declaration of consent. This means that permission has been obtained for the taking of the photos and their publication on the website or other marketing statements.

Social Media and Communication Tools

  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): For advertisements and interactions through our social media channels, we use Metaplatforms. Meta may collect data about the behavior on our website through cookies and pixels. This data can be used for targeted advertising and personalizing the user experience.   • TikTok: We use TikTok to place advertisements and communicate with our audience through videos and other content. TikTok may collect data about interactions with our ads and videos, such as viewing behavior, likes, and comments. This is done without the use of the TikTok Pixel on our website.   • YouTube: We use YouTube for posting videos and communicating with our audience. YouTube may collect data about your interactions with our videos, such as viewing behavior and comments.   • Call center: We use call centers for telephone communication, including for donor recruitment activities. When you fill in your phone number via our forms, you give permission to be called by us. The call center may collect personal data, such as name, telephone number and other information that you share during conversations. This data is used exclusively for donor recruitment purposes and other communications relating to our campaigns and activities. How do we protect your data?

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure your data, such as:

  • Encryption of data (SSL) during transmission.
  • Access control and password protection.
  • Regular audits and updates of security systems.

How long do we keep your data?

  • We delete/anonymize financial data from relations after 7 years (due to legal retention)
  • Non-financial data 3 years after the last interaction
  • Upon request, data can be deleted/anonymized earlier
